Ahead of the Tokyo Olympics, Apple this week launched its International Collection bands for Apple Watch in celebration of athletes across the globe.

The limited-edition Sport Loop bands feature 22 unique and colorful designs to represent those nations across the globe. The collection is only available on Apple.com for Apple Watch Series 4, Apple Watch SE, and later. Available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, the bands are $49 (US).

The International Collection serves as a spotlight for the usefulness of Apple’s App Clips feature, which will allow people to easily download their matching countries’ Stripes Apple Watch Face. However, by visiting the Apple Watch page, you can get your nation-themed watch face now instead of waiting for the band to arrive.

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics had to be postponed last year due to the coronavirus pandemic; the international sporting event will finally take place later this summer. Apple did not associate the release of the International Collection with the games, although it heavily features six-time Olympic swimming gold medalist Amy Van Dyken modeling the watch in its press release.

In the past, Apple did another limited-edition run of international watch bands ahead of the 2016 Rio Olympics. Featuring 14 nations, the bands were only available at the Village Mall in Barra da Tijuca, Brazil.
